MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

I hope everyone has the Best Christmas ever!!! I know I will!
Life is going super great right now. I have nothing to complain about! My family is great as usual, work is busy and great! and this Holiday season is going pretty darn good!
Tonight is Christmas Eve dinner with the family, and then tomorrow.....you know!!! I can't believe 2007 is almost over.

ITS ABOUT TIME AMBER`

Thats what you're all thinking, I'm sure! Sorry its been forever since I last made an entry. I've been trying to post pictures since Halloween, but I'm a computer dum dum. So you all will have to wait just a bit longer.
Still no word on the Movie yet. As far as I know, no one has heard back yet. But its getting close to rehearsal time, so if I dont' hear anything, will most likely mean I did not get hired.
Recently, I fractured my foot, it was on Halloween when I did it. I was doing this triple back flip into a triple pirouette, and landed incorrectly. So the doc put me in this sexy black boot, which I like to call the "Man Magnet". I just finished at the Orthopaedic last Friday, and I was SO nervous that he was going to tell me I needed surgery. BUT luckily, I dont' need surgery as of yet....He did say however, I will need to get it in the future. PHEW!!!!! dodged that bullet!
Now I am just working working working!!! Its been extremely busy with dance. Almost done with the Christmas recitals and working on competition routines and solos! I am also still planning on audition for SYTYCD....which reminds me, I need to see if they have audition dates yet....better get on that!
If any of you know of a boyfriend store...please let me know. I'd like to pick one up. So I've been dating a little, but nothing has worked out for me. Sure wish I could get a boyfriend. LAME!

It is true...I did buy "Backstreet Boys Greatest Hits" I do have to say that it is extremely fantastic..
For those of you that are laughing...and saying I can't stand boy bands....YOU LIE!!!
Lets face it people...Boy bands have some catchy tunes. And everyone likes at least one song or tune of a boy band.
You can't help but do a little head bobbing. Go ahead and listen to "Shape of my Heart" on my blog and tell me that is not catchy or the words are not good....come one people!!!! lets be honest....Ok ok sometimes the songs are pretty lame, but really what bands dont' have lame songs? We just need to face that we are all dorks and like a little bit of the boy band world!

Ok People!
So I guess its time to update my blog. I talked to my Cousin Courtney last night (LOVE YA GIRL!) and she reads my blog.....I just freaking love cousins and family! staying updated on me! (by the way Courtney.....don't forget to give me your myspace.)
Alright....lets see where to start...hmm...Oh yes..the Audition. Alright so I had my fourth little do-ditty. This time in front of the Director himself....He's Asian...I thought I'd throw that in because that kind of gives me a one up right? ....If you all didn't notice...I'm asian too. This time I had to say my awesome three lines with attitude...I got attitude fo-sho. Anyway, I haven't heard back from it, but I have heard they still liked my dancing skills, so when I hear I'll let you all know...For now it is waiting time.....
I went to a Halloween party this past weekend, it was a blast. I went with friends, Misty, Jim, and Chris. Probably one of the best times I had....I will post pics as soon as I get them up...
Just yesterday I went to my family Halloween Party. My pops dressed like a pirate, and you know what....he was unrecognizable. My nieces and Nephews didn't even know it was grandpa. It was a pretty sweet costume. When I get those pics i'll post those as well! Sorry, I've been lagging on the pictures, but sometimes my brain doesn't work so BACK OFF!!!!
I am still cleansing...I am on the liver cleanse now. This cleansing stuff freaking Rocks!!! I love it. I am feeling super great. My body feels great too! Love it...Next one will be for Kidneys HOO-RAY!!!!

Alright so the movie I auditioned for was American Mall. I did a dance audition. And I got a third call back....was it for dance...Oh No! they wanted me to read the script....uh....ok.....so I read the script, and I got a fourth call back....A FOURTH!!!! I am reading the script again tomorrow.....what is going on here. I just wanna dance!

So it is Monday!
Hoo-Ray....maybe ha ha. So I went to an Audition for a Movie. I hopefully will only be dancing and not acting. I got a call back, which is a VERY good thing. We shall see what happens. If I get the gig.....FREAKING AWESOME. If not...then I be bummed for half a second and then move on with my already busy life. Dance is still going very busy, I'm trying to get everything done before the Christmas break.

BEEN A WHILE

Ok So I thought I should probably update whats been going on in my life!
I am still cleansing....I think I have about 70 days left. I am freaking loving this cleanse! www.enuvia.com. Remember 30 days colon, 30 Days liver, and 30 days Kidney. I'm still doing the colon cleanse...It is AWESOME!!!! I am going to do another cleanse after this one too. I just love love love cleansing! Ok So that is that!
Dance is picking up rapidly. I've started some of my soloist. two of which are 6 & 7 years old. REALLY cute dancers! i'm starting another soloist next week and the week after that, my saturdays are jam packed with work. It kind of sucks....but oh well. Someones gotta pay the bills. I love dance, but it gets super busy! My weekends are starting to vanish. Ahh I knew this day was coming!
My September month was really wacky. I had a really terrible September. Everything was going wrong. I was really happy when October arrived. My October so far, has been so awesome. I've been at total peace with my mind and body. And nothing and I mean nothing has been bothering me. everything is going so good. Goodbye Crappy September and Hello Awesome October!!

THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!!!!!!!!

So guess who gets to go to Disneyland.......ME!!!!!!!! My family is going the weekend before Christmas, and well I wasn't going to go, but here is the plan. They are driving down on Wednesday, I think they are stopping in Vegas to get some gambling time in.....ha ha yeah right. Anyway, so I am going to fly down on Friday afternoon, and then drive home with them that following Sunday. I am so stinking excited. I cannot wait. Last year they went to Disneyland without me. I decided, I have not been for so long and I LOVE Disneyland. So fun and I can't wait to go. And if they decide not to go....I'm still going!!!!!!

So yes I am starting a cleanse again. This one is 90 days, but I dont' have to starve myself or stay by a bathroom all day long. The first 30 days cleans out your colon, next 30 days works on your liver, and the last 30 days works on your kidneys. How awesome is that?!!!! Rhetorical question. Anyway, i have already read all the good and bad reviews. Some people really thought enuvia sucked, and others really liked it. I am going to try it for myself and see, and then I will report.

COLON CLEANSING

Alright Alright! So I have been getting more and more into Colon Cleansing. I know, it sounds pleasant right......yeah! Yesterday I started the Master Cleanse

I did this same cleanse about a year ago. so here is the low down on it. Its a ten day cleanse. You stop eating solid foods. You make a lemon concoction consisting of fresh squeezed lemons, grade B maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and purified water. You drink this all day (remember NO SOLID FOODS), at night you do laxative tea (I use "Smooth Move" great name huh...) Then in the morning you drink, no not drink, CHUG a quart of salt water. If you don't know how big a quart is, it is equivalant to a liter of Soda, or 32 oz. The salt water, actually travels only thru your colon, so it breaks up the junk on the wall of your intestine and pushes it out. Now the Salt water is VERY disgusting to drink, and you just have to drink as fast as you can, but the waste that it eliminates is INCREDIBLE. So anyway, I am saddened because I may not be able to continue with the cleanse. This morning, I woke up, knowing the drink that was awaiting me. Made the drink, and started chugging away.....1...2....3....4...5...6....7...8.....slowing down now....9...........10 gulps......almost 11.......stopped. Look at my container. I have successfully downed 20 oz. Only 12 more to go.....ugh...stomach not feeling so great....oh well.. This is how i felt last time too. NO worries. Container goes up to my mouth.....1.....YIKES!!! almost comes back up...have to stop again after a sad attempt to drink the rest of my yummy salt water. Ok here goes again.....1...2....2 1/2....about to hurl. Stop...ok cannot drink anymore....

I get in the shower....Ahhhh refreshing......get out. Still feeling nice and full from the salt water. ....and a bit sick. Sick as in, You've drank to much alcohol, and you feel it coming back up. So I lay down hoping it will settle in my stomach. WRONG....about 2 minutes later I'm running to my bathroom, and I puke my guts out.....puking up Salt Water really really REALLY sucks. Yeah so do you know what didn't happen today???? my colon flush. So if i'm not able to drink the salt water, there is no point in doing the cleanse. The salt water flush is awesome, and I'm sad.....boo hoo. I've been looking at other cleanses that I can do. I did Colon Blow http://www.colonblow.com/ (yes that is the real name) a few months ago, and LOVED it! I will be doing that one again soon. But for the mean time I was really excited about doing the master cleanse again.......*sniff* Does anyone out there have suggestions on how to drink salt water?

The Weekend

Well so this weekend was fun, Friday night I went to the Taylorsville football game, to watch my friends children dance in a mini drill half time show. Pretty darn cute! Then sushi with my friend Jenn and her husband Eric. YUM. Saturday I spent the day with my family, going to the PG heritage festival. Pretty uneventful. Sunday I went to Octoberfest with my friend Kelsey and Kent, and their friend JJ and his siblings, and Cory. It was loads of fun. I got to dance with the mayor of Octoberfest, and he remembered me. Kelsey and Kent won the chicken dance contest, and JJ and I won the most energetic waltz. It was pretty darn fun! ha ha ha. Then I went to my parents and ate some dinner YUM!
A bit lonely last night, but I received a phone call from Adam, and that cheered me up a lot. I did not want to hang up and go to bed...but all good things come to an end I suppose.
I am now going to start working hard on my choreography, and get that off my chest. I need to buckle down and start. I've been procrastinating....but no more. I have so much to do and so little time to do it in YIKES!!!! FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS and I dont' mean my car! Then when choreography is done, I am taking another vacation HOO-RAY! That will be my little treat to myself!

Here we are SF Fun!!!! HOO-RAY!!! I went to the Scottish Highland Games, As you can see, LOTS of kilts HELLO!!!! Do Love a man in a kilt ha ha ha! Anyway lots of pole throwing and weight carrying, and weight throwing, and women that are buff like men, lots of drinks, lots of food, lots of bagpipes, did I mention kilts. Oh yes, and the closing ceremony was absolutely incredible!!! They had over 800 Bagpipe players, talk about amazing and beautiful!!

SYTYCD RESULTS

Alright so I have posted up on the top of my blog, the AWESOME hip hop routines, by Shane Sparks, danced by Sabra and Dominic. So So Amazing. One of the few dances that I remember. Anyway it was SABRA.....Sabra won the 1/4 of a million dollars HELLO!!!! Congrats to her, although I still was hoping that Neil would have won. I am glad that Lacey did not win YAHOO!!! Anyway watch the first video on the video bar!!!! SO GOOD

BACK AGAIN

Hello Everyone!!! I have returned from beautiful Island Park, ID. My little big brother went up with me...Thats him in the pictures....Isn't he just so handsome. He and I barely saw each other. We rode up together and he went his way and I went mine. I tried to go fishing but freaked out becuase I could have sworn I hear a moose. We went to West Yellowstone and took pictures by the fake buffalo. The tents and teepees in the picture are of the Mountain Men Rendevous. Right at the entrance to West Yellowstone. That was fun to walk around and see. And than the wonderful 4 wheelers! I also met several nice people as I was out and about. I was invited to a dutch oven BBQ. Lots of fun and new friends.... I will have more Idaho pictures at the end of the month. I am going back up and this time for more than just a weekend YAHOO!!!!

PARK CITY PICTURES

Well here they are! The pictures of the weekend with Adam. I think I'm still part Picasa Handicapped. I can't seem to get the pictures to not post twice. So if it bugs you....BACK OFF!
So I'll explain some of the pictures, for the most part you all can figure them out. Statue of a bear on Main street, The local singer....Hey Adam, whats that guys name? The MENTOS MOBILE! The Brazilian....Then the rest are pretty self explanatory, Right?
Dance is already getting hard and overwhelming. And sometimes I wish I could just make a move now. But gotta go for one more year of teaching, one more year on my lease, and one more year to get debt free. I hope this year goes by fast. Still havent decided on where to move to....I would love love love to live in NY and that would be a huge move for me. I would also love to live in CA. I have family and friends there, so that makes me want to move there. There are pros and cons for both places. They will both be expensive, so that factor is out of the way. *sigh* Does anyone have any suggestions? I've looked at several cities in CA , but if I moved to NY, I would only want to live in Manhattan. alrighty peoples...I'm just rambling now.

My my my....been a while since I posted a message...Well I started dance again last night...My students are great. We had a couple big issues that I can't really talk about on my blog. But we are working fast at resolving them and making them into positive situations.

Last weekend - what a great weekend...Adam flew in and we spent the weekend together. Friday, relaxed...Saturday we went to the Kimball Arts Festival in Park City, We walked around enjoying the beautiful sculptures, paintings, woodwork, ect ect. Came home and made Bulgogi...For those of you who don't know what bulgogi is...it is a korean dish, marinated meat. A relaxing green tea bath....mmmm..., Sunday....oh Sunday...a baby blessing, pho, nap....

It was a great weekend.....like always, I would have liked one more day. I will post pictures, as soon as the computer wants to cooperate!

Well, I am glad I had a good weekend, because the new week is not going so super great.....Its nice to think back on the good weekend, and leave the present for a few seconds.

EVERYBODY WAS KUNG FU FIGHTING

Well I must tell you about the crazy Tuesday night, that I encountered at my own apartment complex......Its a warm Tuesday evening, 10:30pm. My lights are out, and I had just popped Tom Sawyer dvd in. Here I am getting nice and comfortable. My Tempurpedic pillow under my head and my arms wrapped around my body pillow. Could this night get any more comfortable? The answer is NO. Suddenly a commotion outside my door and the sound of someone hitting into my door....MY GOODNESS! it sounds as if my door almost got busted in by the SLCPD in the midst of a drug raid! Mind you, my Tom Sawyer movie is still playing....I then hear a man (John) Screaming at the top of his lungs "HELP HELP, SOMEONE CALL 911! HE'S TRYING TO KILL ME! HELP 911!!!!!" No exaggeration here. Then the downstairs neighbor opens her door yelling out, telling this guy to shut up. Quiet falls over the Park Street apartments. I hear John,who is now locked out of the apartment, trying to coax Rod, who owns the apartment, into letting him back in. Saying he'll call the cops if he doesn't open the door. Once again the night is silent again. AHHH finally John has left and now I can go to sleep. Boy was I wrong. 10:50pm *POUNDING ON MY DOOR* I'm thinking..."if this is John I'm going to be pissed" I open the door to two Salt Lake City Police Officers....They proceed to ask me several questions. I finish, shut my door, get back to my comfy position and now, now I can sleep....Wrong again! The SLCPD decided to BANG and I mean BANG!!!!!! on Rod's door....This goes on for the next 5 minutes, and they finally leave. NOW yes!!! and this time I am serious, I can now sleep! Everyone is fine. No one was seriously injured or killed amidst the Chaos!

BBQ SEASON

Its a Sad Day in Sesame StreetAlright lets see, I went to a BBQ on Tuesday evening. There was so much good food, and I think I may have gained 30 pounds from it. Anyway good people, good food, and good drinks. I got to see fireworks and as soon as I figure out how to load then from my phone, I will put pictures and videos up! I was a little saddened that night as I was watching the fireworks....but cheered up.

Ok. So onto yesterday....you know when you are walking around your clean AP, pouring yourself a delicious chilled glass of wine in a beautiful glass....you take the glass to your nose, and breathe in heavily...letting the aroma of grapes, oak, and pepper fill your nostrils. You breathe out letting the aroma escape, and as you put your lips to the rim, tip the glass back and.........The neighbors start screaming at each other. Screaming so that the whole block can hear them. Cussing at each other, calling each other bad names, and eventually came down to hitting each other. I was getting sick of it. They were disturbing MY peace. and when it becomes physically, something needs to be done. I called the cops. Yes I know, I hate getting into peoples business, But this man and woman go at it all the time every day and did I mention there is a child involved....Anyway, I called the cops, they arrived, talked to the man and woman, and the man was handcuffed and taken away. That should teach them not to disturb my peace again.

Ok so then my neighbors and I proceeded to have a BBQ outside my AP. My friend, Melissa, came to the BBQ, it was really nice to see her . It rained a little on us. But for the most part it was a lot of fun. My neighbors rock!!! They are good friends! ok thats all for now, OH yeah don't forget to watch the results for SYTYCD!!! Tonight at 8pm mst

So here are some belated pictures of my vacation to San francisco. This was in June I believe. Sorry the pictures are a bit sporatic. I had to do them at work, and I dont' have that funky picture program, picasa (or however you spell it), on my computer here, so there you go! I decided that this summer was going to be my vacation summer. I haven't been able to do a lot of vacations, and since my life gets extremely busy during the dance year, I needed to treat myself. I want to make sure that I keep myself sane, and what a great way to keep myself a bit grounded!!!




Most of the pictures are of horseback riding, which was SO much fun! This was definately a very fun vacation. I could've just stayed one more day, and been perfectly satisfied

STRESSED

This weekend was fairly good. Friday was BBQ, Swimming, and a dramatic party, where I stayed away and played Guitar Hero for most of the evening! Saturday was great! I went to Farmers Market, bought some fish and found a new fish market that I will be trying! I then cleaned my AP, and then crashed out for a few hours. Later that night I went to a going away party and had a great conversation with my friend Brooke! Sunday was church and it was really nice to go back, and then to my parents, meeting with my boss, dinner with the family, break down with my mom, and then cocktails with my neighbors. My Sister in Law and her two daughters, came back from Puerto Rico for a visit! It was so fun to see them.
And Today I have a Pho date with my friend Erin and her cute son Baby Bean McKade! Hoo-Ray! other than that, I will go home and crash early....I'm very tired today....

SYTYCD

Well the Top Ten on the show were revealed last night. I almost cried when they kicked off Anya and Hok. I will tell my reasoning. If you are in the top ten, you are guaranteed a dance job for at least a year, where you travel, do shows, and make money. So they had to get rid of two dancers to make the top ten. I know if I were to make it to the last twelve and then get kicked off right before the top ten, I would be sad, so thats why I almost cried.

Boy oh Boy! Am I ever so glad that today is Thursday. Just one more day until the weekend. I found out that I do in fact have a two week break from dance. That is the best news ever!
Alright, So, I have slacked on SYTYCD....But thats alright. Last night I went swimming with my friend Carmella, then we went to a BBQ at her brother's home. Way to many drunk people there ( I am NOT included). It was loads of fun. We left around 12am - ish. Took forever to say goodbye to everyone (that would be Carmella taking forever) hee hee. That girl is awesome! Anyway, thats all for now!

MONDAY AGAIN?

Wow...The weekend sure went fast, but I do have to say that my weekend was relaxing, full, and fun. Lets see....I went out to dinner with a friend from CA, showed him around a little, didnt' know what more I could show him. Saturday, I was sooooo LAZY during the morning and part of the after noon. I then proceeded to clean my A.P. I managed to finally get both, YES BOTH, bedrooms cleaned this time. Nice and vacuumed. The only thing that is not organized is the clothes on my bed, but that will be easy! I am just happy that the bedrooms are clean! They haven't been clean in months. I know disgusting yes yes, but not like there were gross things on my floor. Just lots of boxes, and clothes and papers. Finally! finished with the A.P. Its about freaking time. Anyway, later Saturday, I enjoyed a pool party at my friend, Carmella's A.P. That was a blast. Sunday, once again I was LAZY. I pretty much stayed on the couch watching a movie. Then finally I got up, showered, and got dressed, and headed down to my parents. Got home early Sunday, tried to work on choreography, way to hot, so just layed down, popped a movie in and then fell asleep early. Now here I am at work typing away! Am I feeling good today???? Not sure....yet....We shall see how the rest of today and the week goes.

POOL PARTY

Yesterday, my friend threw a pool party for her friend Lindsay. It was a perfect scorching hot day to get in the pool! Lots of eating, drinking, and swimming! what a way to finish off the hot Saturday. Anyway, not much to say about that, just enjoy!

BEMIDJI MN JULY 2007

Here they are friends. Pictures of my Minnesota vacation! It was a lot of fun!!! I look pretty awful in these pictures, but I was on a lake for most of the vacation so....BACK OFF!!!! I think the most amuzing thing was the very small plane. I had to laugh because it was really small, and I actually had to walk outside and onto the plane. It is obvious that I do not ever travel to small towns by plane! I also was able to ride on a Manta Ray. Basically it is a giant kite that is towed behind a boat. I only crashed into the water once. The other times, my legs were flailing in the air as I clung onto the handles for dear life. It was a blast. Well that will probaby be the last "big" vacation I take for a while. Hopefully before December of this year, I will be back in MN, CA, and MI. I won't be there long just for a weekend at a time. So nothing to crazy! Oh yes and of course Idaho. anyway, there it is! Hope you Enjoy!

THE SHOW MUST GO ON

Alright....The show...Much much much better than two weeks ago. Although I still wasn't totally blown out of the water. Ok now onto the next event. It is Wednesday...do you know what that means? Yep you guessed it. DANCE! The show is on after a week break. I am definately ready for my dance fix. I am hoping, that since the dancers had a lovely week break, that they will be ready and wow us this week. hopeful....We shall see, and then we shall discuss tomorrow!!! Hoo-Ray for dance.

Soon, I will only be able to watch dance. I need to go to a Orthopaedic. Anyone know a good one? I have a hard time going to doctors that I don't know so if anyone knows of a good one, please please please let me know!

These last couple days I've been down in the dumps....no not literally. Hormones are wacky, my life feels like its spiraling out of control, I want to slit my wrists, having a "fat day".....yes Ladies, you guessed it! ARGH! I got so overwhelmed yesterday, trying to get my dance schedule in order with all three bosses. It was crazy....I think this year is really going to be stressful for me....more dance classes, more hours, less time....Today, I am feeling less stressed...feeling much better....

Dance is starting today....ugh full days for two weeks, morning job then straight to dance for 5 hours. YIKES!!!!

MONDAY

Ok, so I finally have gotten over last weeks results on SYTYCD. Today is a good Monday. I leave on vacation on Wednesday morning! I will report later, and post pictures when I get back.... Just finished a dance recital on Friday. It was good, I danced in a teacher dance that I choreographed. I also banged my head on the floor. Yep its true. When I figure out how to get this video on my blog, you can try to figure out where in the dance I hit my head ha ha!

Hi! Another show of SYTYCD. Definately not as Disappointing as last week for sure. Yes I did vote. Votes for Hok, and Votes for Pasha. Sad that Pasha lost his partner for the night. Oh Well, I was happy to know that she, Jessie, will have to dance for her life tonight regardless of the results. She is not safe. So I was happy to know that she does not have a free ticket!
I suppose that is it for now. Short entry today. I'm a bit tired.

KNEE INJURY

Well...I have managed to injure my knee a little more...I am trying to be extra careful on it. I have to perform on Friday, and without a knee...well you know!

I actually pulled a hamstring or Ligament on the outside of my knee. This happened by me trying to do a round off, back flip. The round off and back flip were beautiful, it was the landing that was not so much. I think I rebounded incorrectly. Anyway that was about three years ago. Its bothered me since, but everytime I dance really full out, I come out limping a bit.....oh I am trying to be extra careful. If I injure myself, then I lose a job. Not a good thing peeps!!!

Yes these were from last year. We went every weekend. I even went in Colorado. (that one was fun).

WEEKEND FUN

Well, the weekend is over, it is saddening! Lets see....Friday was Bunco night. I happened to be a sub. It was so much Fun. For all of you who don't know what Bunco is, it is a dice game. I just learned what it was on Friday as well! Anyway loads of fun, lots of drinking, lots of cussing....(not me), and tons of laughs. I think I laughed off about 10 pounds that night! Saturday, I went to the arts festival with my girl friend Carmella. That was a lot of Fun. Seeing all the different, cool, and crazy art, eating Awesome food, and getting a tan! Later that night, I went to a BBQ, met another dancer (he is a male dancer and he is fabulous). Also played Guitar Hero until 2am. UGH....still feeling that too!! Sunday, I was trying to recover for most of the morning! Went out to lunch with friends, Kelsey, Kent and Harry Baby! Then back to the Arts Festival. Ended up going home, to hot and to tired. and I passed out for the remainder of the afternoon. Stayed home the rest of the night and just watched some Annie, and fell asleep. And now here I am posting on my blog. Well I think that is it for now.

DANCE RESULTS

8 pm...Cat Deely says "welcome to So You Think You Can Dance." A lovely routine choreographed by Shane Sparks, and the top 18 dance it out on stage. We have now entered into the "results." Glued to the Tv, I was...and as Cat told Jessi and Pasha that they were the first to be in the bottom three, My jaw literally dropped to the floor. I really could not believe it. No one in the second group goes to the bottom three. Then Jimmy and Shauna, and Faina and Cedric. Now we all know that Faina and Cedric were going to be in the bottom three, but who would have thought that Jimmy would have been voted off before Cedric? I mean no doubt Cedrics solo was AMAZING, but Jimmy is such a technically trained dancer....I literally wanted to sit on my floor and cry. I just about did. What are the judges thinking? I respect all the judges....but is there a reason why they are keeping Cedric, when we all know that if he is not given a Hip Hop routine, he will once again put him and his partner in the bottom three next week. UGH.....Saddened...Jimmy is an absolutely beautiful dancer....And although Faina's solo was not so great, dont' you think she is a freaking beautiful person? Anyway, totally shocked, a bit frazzled, and confused....

Well I watched SYTYCD....This week nothing stuck out to much for me. I was a little disappointed...Although I did enjoy the "stepping" routine that was done. I thought it was flavorful. And yes, I did vote. I voted for Hok (I think he is a dream, and that accent ahhh!), I also voted for Jimmy, and one other couple i can't remember except for their number 01, 06, & 08. ha ha! well we'll see the results tonight!!!
I have a craving for sushi tonight....anyone up for it?

MUNDAYS

Geez, does it feel like a repeat? Anyway, my weekend went well...I had my good friend, Erin's birthday party on Friday. That was a lot of fun. I was the only one that did not have a husband....geez....all married people except me. Ahh the single life! I dealt with drama at my apartment with my neighbor and his ex-boyfriend. And My neighbors and I had a scrabble/cocktail party. That was a lot of fun! Sunday was father's day, but i"m sure you knew that! My Papoo is the bomb!!! He got a fancy new camera. Very small and very light weight. I want one.
Anyway for the most part on Saturday, I was a big, fat, lazy, bum! I didn't do anything. It was great!!! Im so used to my Fridays and Saturdays being so packed with dance, that it feels a little wierd not to do anything. But I enjoy it. Well Suppose that is it for now!

DANCE RESULTS

Uh....was anyone else suprised by last nights verdict? I couldn't believe Ricky was voted off before Dominic! I thought his solo was much better than Dominics. But I guess the judges didn't think so. What a tough decision. I definately knew that Ashley was going to be kicked off. She was awful both nights. I did not enjoy her solo at all! My dad is a hoot...yes, I said it, a HOOT. During the breakdancing/hip hop, he was wrinkling his nose, saying is that dancing good? It was funny.... He hasn't seen much different styles of hip hop, so it was humorous to listen to him trying to figure out what was supposed to look good, and what didn't. Anyway, can't wait until next week. Going to be fantastic!
Last night was pretty relaxed. I taught my class, then went to my parents, and everyone ditched me. My dad and brother went golfing....GOLFING.....I come down, and they don't even want to spend time with their beautiful, talented, fabulous, daughter/sister. What is wrong with these people???? Just kidding! I freaking love them!!! I got my laundry done, and watched SYTYCD. When my brother got home, I showed him some winning dance moves that are gonna get me on the show next year.....Trust me they...they were pretty awful dance moves... ha ha!!!
Well all is well. I am going to go to the market today and try and find live mussel...but I might only find clam which is fine. There is a delicious recipe that I have to try.....

Did anyone get to watch SYTYCD last night???? I missed it! What happened? Anything good???? HA!!!! If you believed that, you are silly!!! Of course I did not miss it. I voted for crying out loud!!!! Benji's sister Lacey and her partner tore it up last night with that contemporary!!! It was absolutely chilling!!! WOW!!!! If you did not get to see that, I am sorry, because it was wonderful!!!! Yes I did vote. I'm a big voter! Anyway. Results are tonight. Watch it if you can!

MUNDAYS

Sounds like someone's got the case of the Mundays. Oh Mondays.....I do not like them....Doesn't it always seem so hard to get up on Mondays?....ugh!
Well, my weekend was fabulous! Had yummy "Mussel(s)", took an awesome Hip Hop Class from Alian Frias, ate a lot a sushi....maybe to much....NAH never to much ha ha!, went to a show/play (Oliver Twist) It was fantastic! Did a Horse ride....Butt is very sore, and I have bruises on my calves now.... I haven't ridden a horse for probably over 10 years, but it was soooooo enjoyable....
I spent the weekend with someone FABULOUS! and was sad to leave....*sigh* oh well..... the days get longer and longer....Awaiting the Day to move. One Year...one year...hopefully one year ha ha ha!! Moving? you ask....ok maybe you didn't ask....but yes....moving I am. Where to....Good Question! I need to turn the page into the next chapter of my life.... Of course I'm not sure where I'm going. Narrowed down to California or New York. I love both places, each has their pros and cons...I guess I really don't have to make my decision for another year, but it will be one of the two states....Scary! Change is very scary to me. So comfortable now. It is time....

WHY IS IT......

Why is it that if you're seeing/dating someone, they automatically become your boyfriend? Does that mean that every guy or girl you date is your boyfriend/girlfriend? Maybe its just where I live, but my goodness people!!!! There is such thing as seeing someone, and not being "exclusive." I know its totally hard to believe, but come on. We are living in a world now, that you go on a couple dates with the same person and WHAM BAM, you are now a couple. Well at least to my family.....Come on Family....Love ya tons, but you gotta get off of the whole boyfriend thing....There are many people that date that do not have boyfriends or girlfriends. Does anyone else see this as odd, or is it just me....I feel like I'm the only one on my side, and defending my title.....
Anyone else have comments on this, or am I crazy?

ANTS IN MY PANTS

Yes I have ants in my pants and they make me want to do the boogie dance. No I am just antsy about everything. Especially living in Utah. Love Utah, I really do! My family is here, and I totally love them, but I think it is time for a change. No worries everyone, the change won't happen for a while. My plan is to get out of debt first then take off somewhere adventurous....New York or California is what is narrowed down to, but who knows, I could end up in Montana ha ha ha ha!!! well....just wanted to wish everyone a fabulous Wednesday!!!

DIZZY

Well here I am again! I am dizzy.....I may have gotten to much sun yesterday! This past weekend was Gay Pride. I have a few good friends that are gay, so I supported them. My friend Harry and Karl marched in the parade, so I cheered them on from the sidelines. It was just so hot yesterday!!!! The parade lasted one and half hours and then we were at the festival for the next three hours. UGH!!! The parade and festival were a lot of fun! It was my first pride, and I am glad I was there to support my friends!!
We had a graduation party for my brother, and cousins. There were four, in our families, that graduated highschool this year! The BBQ was nice. Perfect weather that evening, definately a cool down since that day.
Lets see what else? Oh yes my good friend Crystil the Pistol, just got married saturday. She looked absolutely stunning. We gave her a big tease about her wedding night. She was really nervous.....I wonder how it turned out.

SUSHI BOAT

Well Everyone, I just have found out something very cool. Those of you who know me, know that I LOVE Sushi. Check this out....have you ever heard of a sushi boat? Well this was my first time hearing about it, just look at the picture and you get an idea, but it, the sushi, floats by, and you pick it from the boats! How freaking cool is that? Alright, I'm kind of a dork, but seriously....I think its pretty radical! If you haven't ever tried sushi, you should. Try it before you dis it!!

Well I have finished up my evaluations for Revolution. For those of you who do not know, I work three jobs. Yes, three.... I am what they call a work-a-holic. I work from anywhere from 12-14 hours a day. Anyway back to the evals. I have to do them for each dancer in my classes. Going back on the year, listing what they can improve on and also what they are good at. They take a while, but I have finally finished them!!! I was up all night doing them, trying to frantically get them done. YEAH!!!
"So You Think You Can Dance" was on last night as well. It was really good. I am really beating myself up for not auditioning this year....but next year, next year I will! If you don't watch it, you should try to catch one show. There is one airing tonight at 8pm-9pm. After "Are you Smarter Than a 5th Grader." I've only seen that show a few times, but it was pretty good!
I am happy it is almost the weekend. This is the 2nd weekend, in a row, that I have not had to work. You see, with dance we have competitions that go on Fridays and Saturdays. They are long, and sometimes will go until midnight both nights. Its quite tiring, but thats what I get for being a dance instructor.

YESTERDAY

Well yesterday was a very productive, interesting, tiring, and fun day. I taught dance classes all morning, afternoon and night. The day started out with two and three year olds, and OH BOY!!!! I really don't know how a teacher can do it every day. Only 30 minutes each, but it is extremly hard to keep their focus for that long! The day progressed with older girls each class. My favorite class would have to be the four and five year olds. They are fun!
I have a new niece!!!! 10 lbs 2 oz. Yes she is a chunk! I will post a picture of her soon.
No other new news....Still working a lot and can't wait for my short, but "finally" break!!!

VACATION

And I am back once again! I need a vacation really really bad......oh yes, I am going on one next week. To beautiful San Francisco. I love that place! There are lots of great things & person(s) there! ahh....this summer, for me, will be all about vacationing. I need to get out and explore the outside a little. I've already pretty much booked the month of July with a few different explorations, and August booked too! Then I will be going back to dance full force and more busy than ever. This new dance year, I have more classes and solos. I love it and hate it at the same time. and by January, I'm already burned out.....ahhh life of a dancer! I just really want to get the vacationing bug out of me this summer, plus I like to take dance classes wherever I go, so I can expand on my learning and choreography.
Today after work, yes I am working, I will be heading off to a BBQ. And I LOVE BBQ's. Everyone knows that about me! BBQ, Drinks, and the Basketball Game.....Yep sports people....

TAXES

Well I finally got my taxes done today. Yes, I know that it is almost June. I've been so busy with dance, that I had to get an extension. This year I only owe $575!!!! And I get a whole $5.00 back from the state HOO-RAY. I am a rich lady now, Fella's, don't even think about me being your sugar mama! I dont' know what I am going to spend all that money on...but I'm sure I'll find a good way to spend it. You must be wondering why I am happy about owing $575...Well last year, I paid the rotten government $2500. So I'm down to $575 this year, and HEY!, maybe next year I'll actually get some money back. Making progress.....oh yeah!
So I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures on my Blog....Help!!! Anyone. I downloaded Picasa and now I'm a dum dum!

So good! While watching, I was getting angry that I didn't audition, but I will just have to calm down until next year. Did you see that "Sex" is back? He is so rad and untalented, and bless his mother's heart for supporting and standing up for him! Way to keep going Sex! Some pretty amazing dancers last night, and some not so amazing. Possibly again this year, I will see some dancers that I know. I hope so, I'll be cheering for them! For all of you, who don't know how crazy I am about this show......Picture this.....Me, glued to the television, waiting for the phone lines to open. One phone in my right hand, one phone in my left hand. A number already set into both phones, ready for me to just push send. Phone lines open....and....BAM!!!!! Here I go, I keep dialing on two phones, probably over 100 times. Right phone, Left Phone, Right, Left..... Don't bother me while I'm dialing.....The year that Nick and Melody competed, I was voting for over and hour and half....guess how NOT inexpensive my phone bill was.....Alright, I will stop typing now.....Make sure to catch the show next Wednesday!!!

Hey Everyone!

I have been "IKEA De-Virginized!" And it was SOOOO good! I love the IKEA. Everyone should experience it at least once. I spent an hour and half in there, and still didnt' look at everything. Its my new favorite store. I bought a wine rack, holds 24 bottles, and you know how much it was.......$29.99!!! How fantastical is that?! I say, Quite! Do you enjoy cream puffs? These are the best I've ever had! They are quite large and Fat Free......HA! just kidding. They're way to good to be good for you. So I know I shouldn't ever eat these (trying to keep a dancer's figure), But they are just way to delicious to pass up, you HAVE to try one. And then basically starve yourself for the next week ha ha!
Check out how good they look. They taste even better, and it was hard to stop at just one! They are not in this state, but look up the locations. I ate TWO....ok really just one and a half. One was chocolate, and the other was pumpkin which was shared with an incredible person! I've been craving since then.....hope to have another one soon.

I am no longer a Blogger Virgin....Phew! Although it will take a few times until I get really good, I will be a pro in no time!!!!
The dance year is almost over! HOO-RAY!!!! My last competition was last Saturday May 19th. My studio did very well. Lots of 1st place and High point trophies. Now only the June recitals, and then FINISHED.....ok only finished for a week, then right back to the grind. But it will be nice to finally have a small break. My brain is pretty fried.
Lets see....what else can I say?.... Nothing to crazy going on in my life. I am heading out to beautiful San Francisco in a couple weeks, and then to Minnesota in July. Yep Minnesota..... Reasoning you ask.... take a guess!
Just so you all know, IKEA opens up tomorrow, Wednesday May 23rd. There are people already camped out at the front doors. IKEA will be giving away a chair to the first 100 peeps.
And the most exciting news.......drum roll please........So You Think You Can Dance starts on Thursday May 24th 7pm. And to all of you who are asking me why I didn't audition, I was going to audition, but I had to be a judge at a competition. But no worries, I have already set my schedule to audition next year. So everyone giving me grief....you better be voting for your one and only.....ME!!!!
