Ok Guess its time to update.
lets see...
It's been a great summer so far. Dance is starting up again....WHY oh WHY....my life is crazy busy. My boss had twins. We hired new amazing teachers. I've been doing Zumba to get my abs and butt sexy for sonoma. I am going to Sonoma with my girlfriends, at the end of this month. We'll be doing a lot of wine tours.
I just woke up from a dream, and my mom was in it. also in my dream my dog was humping my leg and i did not have the strength to get him off. You know those dreams where you want to run or scream but you can't, well it was kind of like that, only I couldn't get my humping dog off my leg. By the way, i got my dog in february, he is a japanese chin and he is about the cutest thing ever. He weighs 3lbs so far and it makes me sad because he is so independent. I named him Ramses (you know, like the ten commandments)
I'm going to be a hair model on monday. Not so sure what that intels. But I havee to look nice.
I've taken on the duties of cleaning the studio. It is disgusting....i don't think it was cleaned properly. (and jessica or corie, if you are reading this, sorry....but its still pretty gross) I am going to paint my studio room a metallic grey because I think that would be really awesome.
WE finally got rid of the ugly brown and pink decor in the office YAHOO!!!!
My dancers are so beautiful, I love them so much and I love the parents too.
i still haven't taken down my christmas tree, but no need to now, since christmas is only 5 months away.
i guess that is it for now.....i'm sure i have more but gotta run to the studio to clean!

DON'T YOU THINK MY DANCERS ARE JUST SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
This past weekend was my last team dance competition and we went out with a BANG!!!!
It was truly an amazing weekend
Here's how we placed

SOLOS!
3 Queen solos
4 2nd place solos
4 1st place solos
1 3rd place solo
And our fabulous dancer Elizabeth (14 yrs) received High Point. For those of you who don't know what "high point' is, let me explain, out of 39 solo routines, from all different studios, Elizabeth had the HIGHEST points out of all, therefore getting the high point award, Quite an accomplishment!

TEAMS!
my boss had three dances.
Two placed first
and her little minis placed 3rd.
She also received the best choreography award out of 41 team routines

I had 12 dances
Eight placed 1st
two placed 2nd
One place 4th
and one placed 5th
one of my jazz dances received HIGH POINT AND BEST TECHNIQUE out of 73 team routines
Another one of my lyrical dances received HIGH POINT out of 37 team routines. (THERE WERE ONLY FOUR HIGH POINTS GIVEN OUT FOR THE ENTIRE DAY AND TWO OF MY DANCES RECEIVED HALF HA!)

And my pro team lyrical dance received JUDGES CHOICE - This particular dance was my 8-11 yrs old, they placed 2nd place only because they were penalized 3 points for being to good....??!! WHAT?! seriously...we followed the competition guidelines and put them in the appropriate category, but the judges thought they were to good....when do you ever get penalized for being to good.... so if they werent so good they would have taken 1st in their division.

Anyway we went out with a bang and we have one more SOLO competition this coming weekend so GOOD LUCK TO THE SOLOIST!

Dear Brodder

I will miss you so much. You were always there for me and I know how much you loved me. Being adopted with you was a great blessing in my life, and I am glad we were able to watch each other go through happiness, and tears, and major trials.
I'm going to miss you saying how fat my butt is. I'm going to miss watching you treat women with incredible respect. I'm going to miss the funny moments you brought into my life when my day was gloomy. I'm going to miss our little dinner dates. I'm going to miss the little brother/sister chats that we had, mostly I'm going to miss not seeing you tomorrow or the next day or in week. You made my life full and crazy and sad and awesome all at the same time.
Jason, you are an incredible brother and most importantly, an incredible person. I always thought you could accomplish anything. I wanted to be just like my big brother except in a girl version. You're my hero brother, you're my protector, you're my friend. I am so sad right now, I hope to feel your presence always.

So I am in the middle of competition season. It has been a lot of work. Last week we had 15 team routines in which 9 placed first, 6 placed second and we had one high point award. This is where they put all the routines together and whichever dance has the highest points overall wins! we also had 15 Soloist. who all did well, 7 of them placed first and one placed high point! Also had comp this weekend. Instead of boring everyone with the details, my soloist did VERY well! Will have competition every weekend until the third week of May...sigh....long nights and early mornings!

So I haven't been blogging for a bit....reason....well....I guess its the whole facebook addiction. But here I am blogging away now...well at least for these next 10 minutes.
lets see....whats happened since NY....oh yes...nothing much bleh!
Lots of dance, lots of stress, and a whole lot of coffee to help me thru the day ha ha ha ha!
Recently I've been DYING to have a dog. Not a big dog of course, but a toy dog. One I can put in my Louis Vuitton, I just miss my Baxter so much. For those of you that did not meet Baxter, he was a full bread Beagle, he never barked, but I could get him to howl. He had the BEST personality. When I moved into my new apartment, I didn't want to pay the ridiculous pet deposit and secondly there was no yard for Baxter to run around in. I felt that it would be totally unfair to him that he would have to be shut in never to run around except for the daily walks on a leash....so I made the very hard, sad decision to give him away to my boss.....Luckily I can see him whenever I want. He is still the same baxter and I miss him very much.....I could never replace Baxter, but I still want a dog....a toy dog....keep that in mind if any of you want ot give me suggestions of breeds. I like Maltipoos, papillions, Yorkies....small dogs perferrably with hair not fur, and ones that do not bark a lot.
On to the next adventure....lets see....
oh yes. one day after a LONG day at work, feet killing me, eyes droopy, knowing I was going to fix dinner....I walked in the door, and Chris, had dinner waiting for me, with fresh flowers on the table, a glass of yummy red wine and he even dressed handsomly. Now keep in mind Chris, bless his heart, does NOT cook...so this was a treat in its own. The meal was DELICIOUS!!!! Spaghetti, Garlic Bread and a lovely green salad. MMMMM I will forever remember that night.
next on the list...
Valentines Day
Chris took me to the ballet, Madame Butterfly. Can you believe that he actually thought I might not like that!!!! I thought that was pretty funny....of course I loved it....I'm always watching the technique and such. then we went to a fabulous dinner at Rino's. If you've never eaten there DO! it is delicous everything is fresh and they grow their own veggies and i even think they make their own pastas. VERY DELICIOUS!
Last but not least....I bought a new purse...I have an addiction to Dooney and Bourke......
I spend WAY to much money on that site. I need to go do D&B anonymous.

I forget to tell you.....
for months before Christmas....I begged and begged and begged and begged Chris about getting me diamond earrings for my present. He kept telling me no and stop asking and don't expect them. I knew it was a long shot and was 100% positive I was NOT receiving diamond earrings for my Christmas present. So Chris and I decided to open presents at midnight on Christmas. Of course we just had a minor delay. We had friends over for cocktails and just finishing up, so we actually ended up opening our gifts around 2am. Chris brought out a small box, and a gift bag (i failed to notice on the gift bag it said "starbucks") so i start opening the small box and i'm think what...is...this...i KNOW its not my earrings, because Chris made it absolutely clear I was not getting them....keep opening them and BAM they are MY EARRINGS!!!!!!!! I'm crying and excited and hugging Chris and still in complete astonishment that I actually got them. So then I run to the bathroom, get one undone from the back and put in my left ear, STill VERY excited start getting the 2nd one's back off and pop.....I BREAK THE DIAMOND OFF!!!!! talk about stunned...and then laughter and then disbelief that I was that excited I actually break my diamond off the earring part....wow anyway just had to share that story oh yes, in the starbucks bag was a french press, something i've wanted for a long time!

ON A SEARCH PLEASE HELP!!!!

So this might sound strange, but lately I've had this strange craving for shortbread cookies or cake....and NO I'M NOT PREGNANT!
I have been searching the web for days now, finding the perfect shortbread. Now....it can't just be any cookies. I dont' want the ones that are crunchy and crispy, and definately none with yucky pecans or nuts or berries of any sort.
Last year I had the awesome opportunity to go to the San Francisco Highland Scottish Games.
There I tasted the most DELICIOUS Shortbread. It was thick and it fluffy and SOFT! none of this crispy melt in your mouth crap. It was just so YUMMY! I even went on the SFHSG's website to see if possibly I could buy some....no luck!
If anyone knows of a website or a local store that has delicous, SOFT, fluffy short bread PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. Until then...searching.........

Well Alright, I'm not democrat, but I am not Republican either. I do, however, think its quite amazing that our country has over come the little thing called race.
I do not have anything against Barrack Obama, but I was speaking with my Papoo a couple months ago, saying "Obama would never win, because he's black and America is not ready for a black president"
My Papoo agreed and well people....this is pretty awesome I think!
I am neither party, I don't even vote, but what I can say is that Obama is all about change and I hope he steps up to the plate and brings on some amazing changes!

Well.....I am thinking I should have moved to CA in July when I was serious about it...I am just having that "want to leave here, try somewhere new, just for a year or two"
Now my girl friend is trying to get me to move out to CO and thats not sounding half bad either! I'd have friends there, and remember what you said Rachel....You said that I could live in your basement....ha ha ha! that would save me the hassle of finding a space to live in. Although my dear friend Rachel's thoughts and opinions about moving to CO are VERY inticing....I just am leaning more towards Los Angeles....I think I just need to live in CA or NY but CA for now, just because its closer and a little less expensive than NY. There is just so much in CA that I know I would just LOVE, especially the dance studios and the foods and ahh....I just love it out there, I think I was meant to live there for sure ...... I am back on the plan of moving in the summer of 09'. If anyone has any thoughts on this you just go right ahead and let me know!

I've decided that I am going to start a new diet, The reason I've been thinking of dieting is because I have indeed gained a little weight and inches, that I am terribly upset about. I've been cleansing like a mad woman, and I know exactly why I've gained. First and foremost, I am SO lazy, its disgusting. yeah I go to dance and have good cardio workouts there, but when I get home I just sit and eat and eat some more. Then don't even get me started on the weekends. Basically I'm not burning as many calories as I am inhaling. Yes, INHALING....sometimes I dont' even chew its that bad.....yeah you all think I'm thin, but trust me, my thighs are rolling in like thunder when I walk. I always say, that "fat" to one person is not "fat" to another, everyone looks at their bodies differently, so when I say I'm fat, I'm not saying I look like an elephant and I have cottage cheese everywhere. But more that I am fat compared to what I used to look like. Its a little depressing that I have let myself come to chubby-ness, and the hardest part is getting back on track and not eating crappy foods or plain just eating crappy. So this is why I called for a diet....its that time of year to shape up and work out. I am absolutely NOT a believer of diets, I know that diets DO NOT work, but this one that I'm going to try, I am 100% sure its going to be effective. I think you all may have heard about it before. Supposedly is is soooo affective and you can lose a ton of inches and pounds in just a week or possibly even less.The diet is called Anorexia....have you heard about it?

Weekend Fun!

So I went to Lagoon on Saturday. I haven't been to Lagoon in probably 10 years, so a lot has changed!

There is a new ride called Wicked....it is pretty awesome, a little crazy and scary. I make sure to put the safety bar so tight, that I can barely breathe or move. and I also noticed saturday night that my lower abdomen is now bruised and sore. Better that to fall out and DIE!

One ride I would NOT recommend, is the Wild Mouse.....to scary....felt like I was definately going to fall off the track, and with the history of the wild mouse (the first original wild mouse, one of the carts did in fact fall off the track, people were locked inside of course with the so called "safety bar" (obviously that didnt work now did it!), anyway not cool!

I also went to my niece's birthday party on sunday, she is 7, and oh how is was SOOO appreciate of the new clothes she got.....can you blame her? I'd be more excited about toys and candy too!

CABIN FUN

Chris and I went to our cabins a couple weekends ago, it was a lot of fun, I was running back and forth from his cabin to mine! We went grub hunting, fishing, four wheeling, touristy stuff, lots of eating. I always get really depressed when I come home from the cabin. Its such a beautiful, relaxful place to be that its hard to come back to the real world....I am going back up with my little brother in a couple weeks YAHOO!!!!

We (the group of friends) were asked on stage several times, to sing songs, make songs with long horn thingys, hold mugs and dance.

BENDOVER FUN

Went to Wendover this weekend with Chris. We fun bused it up. For those of you who don't know about the fun bus...its about the best thing to do to get to Bendover. Basically you pay $15 for the drive up, you play bingo and they give you drinks (non alcoholic...LAME ha ha), thats not even the best part, they give you a booklet of comps. You get $5 cash back, free buffet, two free cocktails, a drink from starbucks, and a lucky buck....so basically the $15 dollars you pay for the bus, was returned right back and then some! So anyway I always play 1 & 5 poker, cause I can play for hours without putting down to much money. so anyway I put a hundred down to play some Texas Holdem' (poker for those of you who do not know what holdem' is), played for five hours and left Bendover with an extra $108.00 is in my pocket. Chris only lost about $40, so all in all we did great and had an awesome time. We are trying to get a group to go again this saturday!!!! WHO WANTS TO GAMBLE!!!!!!!

My weekend was super great....Lets see...I went to a fancy shmancy dinner, but totally my style. It was at a country club, where jeans are not allowed. Good thing I don't own a pair of jeans eh! I did get the opportunity to meet Chris' parents, grandmother, auntie and cousins. Yep it was "meeting the family" time. But also it was for his grandmothers birthday! Really fun, and I got along with all of them. So lets cross our fingers they liked me!
Saturday evening was a BBQ with friends, Dance party with Harry, lots of rock band and a LOT of eating!!!! super fun!
Sunday was relaxful, Chris and I had pho for breakfast, watched a ton of SVU (love that show!!! and trying to get Chris more into them!) Taught piano lessons, finally watch the Salt Lake auditions for SYTYCD and was irritated that they put some people thru and not me (ie: the two blonde friends....WHAT???!!!)
Had another BBQ with my neighbors and went to bed, and here I am working away now. Starting a new week blah!!!!
well anyway I am still working on the pictures. For some reason they wont' post on my blog, but if you have a face book you can check them out there!

Well tried posting pictures on here, and as you can see, unsuccessful for now. I had a GREAT weekend. Full of BBQ's, Friends, Rock Band and just plain fun. It was definately one of the best weekends I have had. I also have purchased Wii Fit. It took a lot of calling around to find it. Sold out everywhere!!! But I was lucky enough to find it thru a private seller and on top of that, at a decent price! I am TERRIBLE at hitting soccer balls with my head, but I am champion at hula hoop!!

Hey all!

So I know the LA pics are being wierd. I will fix that. Just haven't had time yet!
I've had a very busy time since I got back from LA. Getting prepared for recitals and what not. But it is almost over HOORAY!!!!!
I am taking another vacation as soon as recitals are over, then I'll be back to the grind. Its been a crazy and emotional few days for me, but everything is fabulous now.
Oh yes, I got my glasses! I didn't realize how blind I really am! but I can see! its totally awesome! I will post pics of my new hip glasses when I get a chance.
I've also started piano lessons for my niece and her mom. That is going fantastic so far.

Ever had anyone tell you your eye sight sucks?

I'm at the DMV awaiting my turn.....number C222....every other number is being called, and I wait and wait and wait. After two hours of waiting (patiently I might add), C222 if FINALLY called. I walk up get all my papers and I.D. out. I am told to read, HA! sure! put my forehead on padding, look into the light....and OH NO.....total blurr....ARGH! I try my one eye trick where I close one eye and read the line...NOPE that doesn't work.....and you can guess what happened next DENIED!!!!! After two hours of waiting only to be told that I cannot get my license and I have to go to an optomotrist. FINE!!!!! I DROVE out of that parking lot, then proceeded to bawl my eyes out.

So to make a long story short, I went to the eye doctor, and yep! Guess I'm blind....I have to get glasses (which come in in about a week) but I am happy to report, I was able to get my license. I am no longer an illegal driver! HOORAY!

I had an incident with a 7 year old dancer and another dancers mother.

We'll call one mom Sarah and her daughter Jane
the other we'll call Deb and daughter Mary
Both girls are 7 years old

Both girls, Mary and Jane are having a good time at a dance convention. Mary can be a little brat sometimes, but come one what 7 year old can't right?!

On the way home Sarah (jane's mom), has an outburst on 7 year old Mary. Telling mary how mad she was at her for treating her own daughter jane poorly. Sarah also told Mary that she does not want her to talk to Jane again, to basically stay away from her. Also telling Deb, that many other mothers have a problem with Mary. Deb had no idea how bad it was or if it was thrown out of proportion.

I think it was VERY inappropriate for Sarah, an adult, to lash out at a child who is 7 years old. I don't know why she didn't talk to Deb in private. and in reality what child, is not a little rude or snotty to others, and of course its no excuse, but children need to be constantly reminded. they are just children and they make mistakes.

So my question to you, my family and friends......

Who do we ask to leave. We cannot have the contention at the studio. So one or the other will need to be asked to leave.
Do we keep Sarah and Jane, and risk the possibility of losing more students, if Sarah has another outburst on another child that maybe said something mean to Jane, or do we keep Deb and Mary and continuously help Mary be a little more polite?

HELP!

So I haven't blogged in a bit, so I thought I'd write something. Its been crazy busy with competition. A Couple weeks ago I went to St. George for competition, the weather was BEAUTIFUL. Its been so busy, with rehearsal going til 9:30 or 10pm every night. I was terribly ill last night probably due to all the runnign around and stress and not enough sleep, and not to mention some dancers have been ill lately. Probably got somethign from them too! But I will have you all know that I am feeling much better today, not fully recovered but close! Nothing new in my life, just work work work trying to pay the bills.

Alright you all....

I auditioned...it was wierd..and I got cut.

you had make it thru two rounds before you even got to see the judges.

There were a lot of GREAT dancers that didn't even make it thru to the next round.

so here's how it went.

You were put in groups of ten. You all have a number, and you have to free style to whatever music they put on. Each person does about 20 seconds and thats it, then they decide who goes to the next round. At the next round you have to do they same thing, and then after if you go on to the third round where you do your own choreography. In my group they put a 60 year old man thru to the next round and no one else. And if you know the show you know you have to be in between the ages of 18-30.....so as you can see, it was for pure entertainment value. To bad....I guess I just wasn't what they were looking for. Either way enjoy these pics of Cat Deeley. She is just as cute and thin in person as on TV.

Well I finally got asked out on a couple dates, not one but TWO! (yes family, I finally FINALLY got asked out) Super great fun! Both were great....now i must tell you the strangest conversation with one of my dates....and here goes..by the way his name is Chris.

Chris: My family goes to our cabin in Idaho a lot.

Me: OH CRAP!!!! WE'RE COUSINS.....(alright ok maybe not, his cabin is probably at the first part of island park)

Me: OH CRAP!!!! WE REALLY ARE COUSINS! (so maybe I said a different word than "crap")

Chris: Well you go down this big hill and up it and we're the first street on the Right.

Pause.....Now family, as you all know, our cabin is on Howard as well....and there are only three cabins on that road.

Me: Holy Sh*t....we're neighbors, but we're not cousins HOO-RAY!!!!!

So I guess its our Cabin, then Chris' uncles cabin (Tank is the dog), and then his families cabin.

Well, I haven't blogged for a while once again.....and I haven't put up pictures. I am sorry to those who have checked my blog and have found nothing new. Sorry, I will work on the pictures. I have a lot to put up, just haven't had nor made the time to do it! No worries though, I will get on it (don't get your hopes up, it may take a while)
Nothing to crazy happnening in my life. Today will be the first day back to dance since the break. So back to crazy, busy time. Competions will start the first week of February and I have so much to get done!!
Been playing guitar hero with my older brother, (yes we like it!) and we have been able to get my mother to play it twice already!!!

Well the New Year was quite a good one. 2007 was such an amazing year for me! I'm excited to see what 2008 will bring.
I went to Vegas over the Christmas break. I won 83 dollars. I know, I am now a rich woman and now am going to retire! I was able to spend time with my family, which was a blast as always.
I don't know if I blogged about this, but I got the Wii and Guitar hero, and just been rocking my face off. I am now on hard level. Its about the greatest game ever. check out the youtube link of the boy who is incredible at the game!

ITS ABOUT TIME AMBER`

Thats what you're all thinking, I'm sure! Sorry its been forever since I last made an entry. I've been trying to post pictures since Halloween, but I'm a computer dum dum. So you all will have to wait just a bit longer.
Still no word on the Movie yet. As far as I know, no one has heard back yet. But its getting close to rehearsal time, so if I dont' hear anything, will most likely mean I did not get hired.
Recently, I fractured my foot, it was on Halloween when I did it. I was doing this triple back flip into a triple pirouette, and landed incorrectly. So the doc put me in this sexy black boot, which I like to call the "Man Magnet". I just finished at the Orthopaedic last Friday, and I was SO nervous that he was going to tell me I needed surgery. BUT luckily, I dont' need surgery as of yet....He did say however, I will need to get it in the future. PHEW!!!!! dodged that bullet!
Now I am just working working working!!! Its been extremely busy with dance. Almost done with the Christmas recitals and working on competition routines and solos! I am also still planning on audition for SYTYCD....which reminds me, I need to see if they have audition dates yet....better get on that!
If any of you know of a boyfriend store...please let me know. I'd like to pick one up. So I've been dating a little, but nothing has worked out for me. Sure wish I could get a boyfriend. LAME!

It is true...I did buy "Backstreet Boys Greatest Hits" I do have to say that it is extremely fantastic..
For those of you that are laughing...and saying I can't stand boy bands....YOU LIE!!!
Lets face it people...Boy bands have some catchy tunes. And everyone likes at least one song or tune of a boy band.
You can't help but do a little head bobbing. Go ahead and listen to "Shape of my Heart" on my blog and tell me that is not catchy or the words are not good....come one people!!!! lets be honest....Ok ok sometimes the songs are pretty lame, but really what bands dont' have lame songs? Alright....lets see where to start...hmm...Oh yes..the Audition. Alright so I had my fourth little do-ditty. This time in front of the Director himself....He's Asian...I thought I'd throw that in because that kind of gives me a one up right? ....If you all didn't notice...I'm asian too. This time I had to say my awesome three lines with attitude...I got attitude fo-sho. Anyway, I haven't heard back from it, but I have heard they still liked my dancing skills, so when I hear I'll let you all know...For now it is waiting time.....
I went to a Halloween party this past weekend, it was a blast. I went with friends, Misty, Jim, and Chris. Probably one of the best times I had....I will post pics as soon as I get them up...
Just yesterday I went to my family Halloween Party. My pops dressed like a pirate, and you know what....he was unrecognizable. My nieces and Nephews didn't even know it was grandpa. It was a pretty sweet costume. When I get those pics i'll post those as well! Sorry, I've been lagging on the pictures, but sometimes my brain doesn't work so BACK OFF!!!!
I am still cleansing...I am on the liver cleanse now. This cleansing stuff freaking Rocks!!! I love it. I am feeling super great. My body feels great too! Love it...Next one will be for Kidneys HOO-RAY!!!!

Alright so the movie I auditioned for was American Mall. I did a dance audition. And I got a third call back....was it for dance...Oh No! they wanted me to read the script....uh....ok.....so I read the script, and I got a fourth call back....A FOURTH!!!! I am reading the script again tomorrow.....what is going on here. I just wanna dance!

So it is Monday!
Hoo-Ray....maybe ha ha. So I went to an Audition for a Movie. I hopefully will only be dancing and not acting. I got a call back, which is a VERY good thing. We shall see what happens. If I get the gig.....FREAKING AWESOME. If not...then I be bummed for half a second and then move on with my already busy life. Dance is still going very busy, I'm trying to get everything done before the Christmas break.

Ok So I thought I should probably update whats been going on in my life!
I am still cleansing....I think I have about 70 days left. I am freaking loving this cleanse! www.enuvia.com. Remember 30 days colon, 30 Days liver, and 30 days Kidney. I'm still doing the colon cleanse...It is AWESOME!!!! I am going to do another cleanse after this one too. I just love love love cleansing! Ok So that is that!
Dance is picking up rapidly. I've started some of my soloist. two of which are 6 & 7 years old. REALLY cute dancers! i'm starting another soloist next week and the week after that, my saturdays are jam packed with work. It kind of sucks....but oh well. Someones gotta pay the bills. I love dance, but it gets super busy! My weekends are starting to vanish. Ahh I knew this day was coming!
My September month was really wacky. I had a really terrible September. Everything was going wrong. I was really happy when October arrived. My October so far, has been so awesome. I've been at total peace with my mind and body. And nothing and I mean nothing has been bothering me. everything is going so good. Goodbye Crappy September and Hello Awesome October!!

So guess who gets to go to Disneyland.......ME!!!!!!!! My family is going the weekend before Christmas, and well I wasn't going to go, but here is the plan. They are driving down on Wednesday, I think they are stopping in Vegas to get some gambling time in.....ha ha yeah right. Anyway, so I am going to fly down on Friday afternoon, and then drive home with them that following Sunday. I am so stinking excited. I cannot wait. Last year they went to Disneyland without me. I decided, I have not been for so long and I LOVE Disneyland. So fun and I can't wait to go. And if they decide not to go....I'm still going!!!!!!

So yes I am starting a cleanse again. This one is 90 days, but I dont' have to starve myself or stay by a bathroom all day long. The first 30 days cleans out your colon, next 30 days works on your liver, and the last 30 days works on your kidneys. How awesome is that?!!!! Rhetorical question. Anyway, i have already read all the good and bad reviews. Some people really thought enuvia sucked, and others really liked it. I am going to try it for myself and see, and then I will report.

Alright Alright! So I have been getting more and more into Colon Cleansing. I know, it sounds pleasant right......yeah! Yesterday I started the Master Cleanse

I did this same cleanse about a year ago. so here is the low down on it. Its a ten day cleanse. You stop eating solid foods. You make a lemon concoction consisting of fresh squeezed lemons, grade B maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and purified water. You drink this all day (remember NO SOLID FOODS), at night you do laxative tea (I use "Smooth Move" great name huh...) Then in the morning you drink, no not drink, CHUG a quart of salt water. If you don't know how big a quart is, it is equivalant to a liter of Soda, or 32 oz. The salt water, actually travels only thru your colon, so it breaks up the junk on the wall of your intestine and pushes it out. Now the Salt water is VERY disgusting to drink, and you just have to drink as fast as you can, but the waste that it eliminates is INCREDIBLE. So anyway, I am saddened because I may not be able to continue with the cleanse. This morning, I woke up, knowing the drink that was awaiting me. Made the drink, and started chugging away.....1...2....3....4...5...6....7...8.....slowing down now....9...........10 gulps......almost 11.......stopped. Look at my container. I have successfully downed 20 oz. Only 12 more to go.....ugh...stomach not feeling so great....oh well.. This is how i felt last time too. NO worries. Container goes up to my mouth.....1.....YIKES!!! almost comes back up...have to stop again after a sad attempt to drink the rest of my yummy salt water. Ok here goes again.....1...2....2 1/2....about to hurl. Stop...ok cannot drink anymore....

I get in the shower....Ahhhh refreshing......get out. Still feeling nice and full from the salt water. ....and a bit sick. Sick as in, You've drank to much alcohol, and you feel it coming back up. So I lay down hoping it will settle in my stomach. WRONG....about 2 minutes later I'm running to my bathroom, and I puke my guts out.....puking up Salt Water really really REALLY sucks. Yeah so do you know what didn't happen today???? my colon flush. So if i'm not able to drink the salt water, there is no point in doing the cleanse. The salt water flush is awesome, and I'm sad.....boo hoo. I've been looking at other cleanses that I can do. I did Colon Blow http://www.colonblow.com/ (yes that is the real name) a few months ago, and LOVED it! I will be doing that one again soon. But for the mean time I was really excited about doing the master cleanse again.......*sniff* Does anyone out there have suggestions on how to drink salt water?

The Weekend

Well so this weekend was fun, Friday night I went to the Taylorsville football game, to watch my friends children dance in a mini drill half time show. Pretty darn cute! Then sushi with my friend Jenn and her husband Eric. YUM. Saturday I spent the day with my family, going to the PG heritage festival. Pretty uneventful. Sunday I went to Octoberfest with my friend Kelsey and Kent, and their friend JJ and his siblings, and Cory. It was loads of fun. I got to dance with the mayor of Octoberfest, and he remembered me. Kelsey and Kent won the chicken dance contest, and JJ and I won the most energetic waltz. It was pretty darn fun! ha ha ha. Then I went to my parents and ate some dinner YUM!
A bit lonely last night, but I received a phone call from Adam, and that cheered me up a lot. I did not want to hang up and go to bed...but all good things come to an end I suppose.
I am now going to start working hard on my choreography, and get that off my chest. I need to buckle down and start. I've been procrastinating....but no more. I have so much to do and so little time to do it in YIKES!!!! FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS and I dont' mean my car! Then when choreography is done, I am taking another vacation HOO-RAY! That will be my little treat to myself!

Here we are SF Fun!!!! HOO-RAY!!! I went to the Scottish Highland Games, As you can see, LOTS of kilts HELLO!!!! Do Love a man in a kilt ha ha ha! Anyway lots of pole throwing and weight carrying, and weight throwing, and women that are buff like men, lots of drinks, lots of food, lots of bagpipes, did I mention kilts. Oh yes, and the closing ceremony was absolutely incredible!!! They had over 800 Bagpipe players, talk about amazing and beautiful!!

Alright so I have posted up on the top of my blog, the AWESOME hip hop routines, by Shane Sparks, danced by Sabra and Dominic. So So Amazing. One of the few dances that I remember. Anyway it was SABRA.....Sabra won the 1/4 of a million dollars HELLO!!!! Congrats to her, although I still was hoping that Neil would have won. I am glad that Lacey did not win YAHOO!!! Anyway watch the first video on the video bar!!!! SO GOOD

Hello Everyone!!! I have returned from beautiful Island Park, ID. My little big brother went up with me...Thats him in the pictures....Isn't he just so handsome. He and I barely saw each other. We rode up together and he went his way and I went mine. I tried to go fishing but freaked out becuase I could have sworn I hear a moose. We went to West Yellowstone and took pictures by the fake buffalo. The tents and teepees in the picture are of the Mountain Men Rendevous. Right at the entrance to West Yellowstone. That was fun to walk around and see. And than the wonderful 4 wheelers! I also met several nice people as I was out and about. I was invited to a dutch oven BBQ. Lots of fun and new friends.... I will have more Idaho pictures at the end of the month. I am going back up and this time for more than just a weekend YAHOO!!!!

Well here they are! The pictures of the weekend with Adam. I think I'm still part Picasa Handicapped. I can't seem to get the pictures to not post twice. So if it bugs you....BACK OFF!
So I'll explain some of the pictures, for the most part you all can figure them out. Statue of a bear on Main street, The local singer....Hey Adam, whats that guys name? The MENTOS MOBILE! The Brazilian....Then the rest are pretty self explanatory, Right?
Dance is already getting hard and overwhelming. And sometimes I wish I could just make a move now. But gotta go for one more year of teaching, one more year on my lease, and one more year to get debt free. I hope this year goes by fast. Still havent decided on where to move to....I would love love love to live in NY and that would be a huge move for me. I would also love to live in CA. I have family and friends there, so that makes me want to move there. There are pros and cons for both places. They will both be expensive, so that factor is out of the way. *sigh* Does anyone have any suggestions? I've looked at several cities in CA , but if I moved to NY, I would only want to live in Manhattan. alrighty peoples...I'm just rambling now.

My my my....been a while since I posted a message...Well I started dance again last night...My students are great. We had a couple big issues that I can't really talk about on my blog. But we are working fast at resolving them and making them into positive situations.

Last weekend - what a great weekend...Adam flew in and we spent the weekend together. Friday, relaxed...Saturday we went to the Kimball Arts Festival in Park City, We walked around enjoying the beautiful sculptures, paintings, woodwork, ect ect. Came home and made Bulgogi...For those of you who don't know what bulgogi is...it is a korean dish, marinated meat. A relaxing green tea bath....mmmm..., Sunday....oh Sunday...a baby blessing, pho, nap....

It was a great weekend.....like always, I would have liked one more day. I will post pictures, as soon as the computer wants to cooperate!

Well, I am glad I had a good weekend, because the new week is not going so super great.....Its nice to think back on the good weekend, and leave the present for a few seconds.

Well I must tell you about the crazy Tuesday night, that I encountered at my own apartment complex......Its a warm Tuesday evening, 10:30pm. My lights are out, and I had just popped Tom Sawyer dvd in. Here I am getting nice and comfortable. My Tempurpedic pillow under my head and my arms wrapped around my body pillow. Could this night get any more comfortable? The answer is NO. Suddenly a commotion outside my door and the sound of someone hitting into my door....MY GOODNESS! it sounds as if my door almost got busted in by the SLCPD in the midst of a drug raid! Mind you, my Tom Sawyer movie is still playing....I then hear a man (John) Screaming at the top of his lungs "HELP HELP, SOMEONE CALL 911! HE'S TRYING TO KILL ME! HELP 911!!!!!" No exaggeration here. Then the downstairs neighbor opens her door yelling out, telling this guy to shut up. Quiet falls over the Park Street apartments. I hear John,who is now locked out of the apartment, trying to coax Rod, who owns the apartment, into letting him back in. Saying he'll call the cops if he doesn't open the door. Once again the night is silent again. AHHH finally John has left and now I can go to sleep. Boy was I wrong. 10:50pm *POUNDING ON MY DOOR* I'm thinking..."if this is John I'm going to be pissed" I open the door to two Salt Lake City Police Officers....They proceed to ask me several questions. I finish, shut my door, get back to my comfy position and now, now I can sleep....Wrong again! The SLCPD decided to BANG and I mean BANG!!!!!! on Rod's door....This goes on for the next 5 minutes, and they finally leave. NOW yes!!! and this time I am serious, I can now sleep! Everyone is fine. No one was seriously injured or killed amidst the Chaos!

BBQ SEASON

Its a Sad Day in Sesame StreetAlright lets see, I went to a BBQ on Tuesday evening. There was so much good food, and I think I may have gained 30 pounds from it. Anyway good people, good food, and good drinks. I got to see fireworks and as soon as I figure out how to load then from my phone, I will put pictures and videos up! I was a little saddened that night as I was watching the fireworks....but cheered up.

Ok. So onto yesterday....you know when you are walking around your clean AP, pouring yourself a delicious chilled glass of wine in a beautiful glass....you take the glass to your nose, and breathe in heavily...letting the aroma of grapes, oak, and pepper fill your nostrils. You breathe out letting the aroma escape, and as you put your lips to the rim, tip the glass back and.........The neighbors start screaming at each other. Screaming so that the whole block can hear them. Cussing at each other, calling each other bad names, and eventually came down to hitting each other. I was getting sick of it. They were disturbing MY peace. and when it becomes physically, something needs to be done. I called the cops. Yes I know, I hate getting into peoples business, But this man and woman go at it all the time every day and did I mention there is a child involved....Anyway, I called the cops, they arrived, talked to the man and woman, and the man was handcuffed and taken away. That should teach them not to disturb my peace again.

Ok so then my neighbors and I proceeded to have a BBQ outside my AP. My friend, Melissa, came to the BBQ, it was really nice to see her . It rained a little on us. But for the most part it was a lot of fun. My neighbors rock!!! They are good friends! ok thats all for now, OH yeah don't forget to watch the results for SYTYCD!!! Tonight at 8pm mst

So here are some belated pictures of my vacation to San francisco. This was in June I believe. Sorry the pictures are a bit sporatic. I had to do them at work, and I dont' have that funky picture program, picasa (or however you spell it), on my computer here, so there you go! I decided that this summer was going to be my vacation summer. I haven't been able to do a lot of vacations, and since my life gets extremely busy during the dance year, I needed to treat myself. I want to make sure that I keep myself sane, and what a great way to keep myself a bit grounded!!!

Most of the pictures are of horseback riding, which was SO much fun! This was definately a very fun vacation. I could've just stayed one more day, and been perfectly satisfied
